In Your Own words

Recently, we asked a favour from our students: To please write about their experiences in regards to training with us in the studio — a testimonial. Upon review, we learned that some people love to play with the parallel bars, and others prefer to practice strength with the bell. Yet, whichever their device, evidence suggests that they also had many things in common. Here is what you had to say…

… over the years

Thank you. For believing, practicing and embracing our approach to strength training. This is our 10th year of business and we have evolved to simplify our program to meet the abilities and ambitions of our students. Most likely, there is no race, so enjoy the timeline and train for the lifetime. Slow progress creates sustainable results and enjoy the process of tuning and toning your body for physique and performance.

’My Job’

For many, work still makes up a large part of the week. So how you prepare, and recover from it will make a difference to how the body feels and performs in your free time. Sitting is a strenuous task too — and in our experience, the more physical the job — simple and subtle training techniques make the biggest difference.

Strength and Mobility

Train to maintain strength for the lifetime and make every day tasks easier. We use our own bodyweight, the barre, and the kettlebell to train full body strength, and joint by joint mobility. By design, our programs looks and feels different, but the goals of developing strength and enhancing the quality of movement are common values we all share.

Feel Better

Nobody ever seems to regret the time they spent working on their body and brain. Also, the effects seem to be long lasting. Every other day, do a little bit, sweat the small stuff and feel better with movement.

Take care,

Ian and Lauryn

Movement and training experience have the potential to link us together across the lifespan. Pictured here are three generations of students who continue to be amazed about the complexity of the human body and how simple interventions have the potential to yield great returns.
